Relentless pounding of blackened death, this is quite an ominous record that just never stops dragging you down. That last track is an absolute masterpiece. ekkkva

Now that I found out that Kråbøl is worthy of being called a mastermind of black metal after my taste I had to get this, too. And what a great first (?) output from him and all Misotheist this is! Addictive af. mourner

Whether or not you enjoy the style ov the clean vocals (I personally do): don't let the discomfortingly staring fish deter you from listening to Örmagna, as these Icelandic dudes' tunes are way too good to sleep on! Even in comparison with your 'typical' Icelandic BM, Örmagna time and again weave in unexpected and quite unique elements. Whilst having a rugged, somehow dirty tone to it, this release is on the 'rockier' side of BM, instead of contributing to the swirling, chaotic vortex. Frábært! David Fischer
